An Eggcelent weekend

Easter April 11-12 09 016 We started the Easter holiday on Saturday evening by decorating some eggs.Easter April 11-12 09 001 Jack loved dying the eggs and decorating them with “Cars” stickers, that is until he remembered how much he really loves hard boiled eggs (weird kid – I sometimes wonder if he is really mine).Easter April 11-12 09 019 And since Beau is still too young to take part in the decorating process, he looked on while he did what he does best…eat.Easter April 11-12 09 010 Sunday morning is always hectic at our house. We are one of those families that can never seem to run on time. Mix Easter into the mix and we are doomed.

Everyone got dressed in their Easter best and then went to check out what the Easter bunny had left them.Easter April 11-12 09 033 Easter April 11-12 09 032 Why I can’t get my boys to cooperate for pics, I’ll never know. But here they are looking all cute and…somber.Easter April 11-12 09 031 After church we headed over to the boys’ great-grandma’s house for lunch and then over to Nana Robin’s and Papa Chip’s house for an Easter egg hunt. Easter April 11-12 09 048 The weather, as usual for Easter Sunday, was awful so we ended up looking for them in the barn. Easter April 11-12 09 052 The boys had a great time and Jack ended up finding a bunch of money eggs;Easter April 11-12 09 073 but the pictures would have been much cuter had we been able to look for them outside in decent weather. We are also one of those families who can never get out of the house on time. Especially on Sunday AM. Then throw in a trip to church in Enid yesterday morning, and we were doomed as well. I feel your pain. But the boys are adorable. They look so cute in their church clothes. I'm sure they had a wonderful time in the barn and with their grandparents.

They look adorable!! I love the suit coats! My boys would have none of that this year! Too bad I don't live closer or I would come to clean your house ;) bummer!

They look just as cute dressed up and they do dressed down!
I'm glad you had such a nice Easter (even with the yucky weather).
I wouldn't mind finding some of those money eggs!
Have a wonderful week~

How adorable. I remember as a kid hoping it would be pretty on Easter. But, it was always fun no matter what.

These are all so adorable! I love that first one of the eggs, but your boys just shine. Too cute!

Love their jackets, they are so cute! Mine would have nothing to do with a suit. Love their baskets, did you get those at Pottery Barn Kids? That is where I got the boys when they were born, I just love their names embroidered on the baskets.

Your boys are so adorable! All three of them : ). Getting 2 little boys to look straight at the camera...that is virtually impossible. I think your pictures are STUNNING any way! You are the coolest Mommy! I LOVE their outfits like crazy! Kaish refused to wear anything cool. Really. I wanted to scream. I need a baby girl. Or even a baby boy. When they are babies they don't care what you put on them, right?

Oh, and PS Guess what RIDICULOUS mother still has not colored easter eggs with her kid....

Ummmmmmmmmmm, yeah, that would be me. I am hoping we can do it before next Sunday. I feel like one week late is kind of acceptable, but after that it is just insanely pathetic

Their ourfits and hairdos are so cute! The weather was awful... we hunted eggs on Saturday outside then inside on Sunday.

Ha! We got the same movie about that mouse for our oldest son too. Such awesomely fun pictures! Love Jack's expression when he's getting into that hard boiled egg. So funny!

They definitely looked absolutely adorable in their Easter best. Precious!

How sweet! Looks like a wonderful Easter, even if the weather didn't cooperate.

And at least your kiddo just ATE the eggs, instead of trying to drink the dye *sigh*... LOL :)
