This week’s i heart faces theme is “Self-portrait” - YACK. I really don’t like to post photos of myself; but because I love i heart faces and would hate to miss out on a week, I picked out two that I didn’t look totally ghastly in : )
The first one is for the kids category and is of me and Jack at our town fair last August. I love how he is looking up at me like I am totally nuts…which I am, but that is another story for another time.
The second is for the adult category and is one you should recognize. It is my profile pic that I took when I won that cute little headband I am displaying. You can check them out and purchase your own at the “Feather by Feather” Etsy shop. Just be sure to tell her Melinda sent you : ) To see more “Self-portraits” or to join in yourself, head on over to i heart faces.

I love you in both of these ~ you are so dang cute! I have absolutely adored that profile pic since you first started using it. (I agree on the "yack" part of this theme though...I had the hardest time with this challenge.)

I was hoping you'd use that picture of yourself! I love it! I am not sure what's going to happen for me this week. Unless I can find an old photo, I don't feel like displaying my allergy-ridden face!

The second shot in particular is wonderful. I love the background color and the curve of the mirror frame. Lovely!!
So glad you didn't shy away from this week's theme! Isn't it rewarding to catch glimpses of our children's true opinion of our behavior? :) Your individual portrait is cute and perky. You seem like a gal that is up for most anything and would be a fun addition to a gathering. I am loving seeing everyone's face!

Hi there! You've been tagged over on my blog! ENJOY!
Too funny - I actually remember the original post where you won that headband!
And you are too cute! The expression on your son's face is priceless.
But gosh is it hard to hold those little ones into the frame of the picture! :)
A Turkish immigrant, college student friend whom I rowed with for two years, once told me that I would be worth more because I had freckles... I think he'd have the same to say about your adorable vintage feathers! Cute entries, and yes, your son is looking at you like you are nuts, awesome!
Your kids entry makes me smile and your picture is FABULOUS! The comp is lovely.
Ghastly? That word shouldn't even exist in your dictionary. You are beautiful. Super fun, fab photos!
Love the pic with the mirror. Great shot!
I just love that shot of you in the mirror. The colors and the look on your face are just perfect!
I never realized that your profile shot was a mirror shot, I had always thought that someone else had taken it of you. In any case, I love the creativity and the composition.
Great headband. I am off to go check them out right now! I'm always on the search for new cute headbands these days.
