A conversation I had with Jack at the end of last week -
Jack: “Mama, is it okay if I say ‘What the heck?!’?
Me: “No, that’s not really a nice thing for you to say.”
Jack: “Oh, okay.”
Moments later….
Jack: “Mama, is it okay if I just say ‘What the?!’?"
Me: (thinking that might just be worse than the first) “No, Jack. That’s not really a nice thing to say either."
Fastforward to Sunday afternoon - We are on our way home from church when we ran across this:

Oh I am cracking up so hard. Once I said C-R-A-P and my daughter said Mom crabs live at the beach. Whew, got away that time.

I probably would have said much worse...my girls ONLY ever paid attention to what I said if it was something ugly (then they would say "Mommy says it")

So funny! Jax asked me this morning if he could say "shoot".. I said no of course... i'm not sure where he even got that! I say Oh my word all the time, it's so funny when he says it all dramatic like - just like me!

My bad word is crap, and Chase has picked up "Rap" from that. So now we are trying to just keep saying "rap" and divert from the other word...
hahaha I KNOW I'm going to do that when Jayci gets old enough to realize (maybe I should start practicing now . . .)

But at school the kids say it all the time. I think you hear it so often it will eventually become part of your vocab.

Don't hate me but I say what the heck all the time! And also, Oh my gosh! I know it is bad. I am trying to quit. If you heard the things the kids that I work with say you would DIE!
I am so bad about saying that! My kids learned "What the?!?" from Spongebob of all places. Weston started saying it when he was 3 and it drove me crazy trying to figure out where he got that from. :)
ahahahaha, that is so funny. I am bad about saying cuss words in front of Bub, and then I get "you know that's a bad word Mom".
i have had the same conversation with my 5 year old but no cows in the middle of the road here!!! that is too funny!!!
LOL how funny! Atleast he asked if he could say it, Courtney just says things sometimes and doesnt think twice about it (she said Gosh Dangit the other day and I was NOT happy about that at all.)
