i heart faces – week 33

This week’s theme is so fun! I can’t wait to see what everyone else contributes to “Nostalgia” week over at i heart faces.

I took this photo of Beau a few weeks ago and between the Rolling Stones t-shirt, the Radio Flyer Rocket and the muted post processing, it just kind of screams nostalgia to me.vintage 2 for web

Take a step back in time this week by visiting i heart faces and seeing all the other nostalgic photos.

Melinda! I LOVE your processing on this picture. SO perfect. Lovely as can be! Did you get photoshop? I can't remember reading it? Whatever you are doing, you are doing it well! Super!

On another note, my D90 keeps telling me there is an error. Like every 3 out of 5 pictures. I am SO annoyed. And my camera shop went out of business. HELP! It is still with its original lense. I have a new one to put on, but I haven't even tried yet. I am SLOW to change. What do you think? I consider you my expert.

Beautiful photograph. I was wondering, when you took this picture with the window in the background, did you imagine the final shot in your mind first? I mean, did you know that you wanted that soft, low saturation look before you took the shot, or did you just snap away and then after seeing your photos decide to edit it that way. Considering the high quality of your photos, I must guess that you had a plan from the beginning.
