The last few…

Or rather several…I promise. I’m sure you guys are already getting tired of seeing wedding photos, so even though I have millions more to edit, I’m only going to post these last few. Plus, I had to show off my new logo my generous dad had made for me – Thanks, Dad!  Ed and Meagan Wedding 017 for webEd and Meagan Wedding 059 for webEd and Meagan Wedding 084 for webEd and Meagan Wedding 161 for webEd and Meagan Wedding 206 for webEd and Meagan Wedding 588 for web Ed and Meagan Wedding 516 for web Ed and Meagan Wedding 286 for web

Sorry for the second post, but I wanted to see if you know of a good everday lens that will work on a Nikon D40? I really need to get one and want a good (but not super expensive one). THanks :)

The 50mm f/1.8 is a great lens: light weight, works well indoors and out, and is well-worth the $130-$150 you will spend on it! Every photographer I've spoken with has this lens in their bag and normally shoot with it the most. There is no zoom (it is a prime lens) so it does take a little bit of getting use to.

You are amazing! Wish you had photographed my wedding!! Well done and I'm not tired of looking at the pictures.
What a beautiful bride - of course, I'm partial to red heads anyway.
Glad I finally got to catch up on your blog. I've been having trouble pulling it up on the screen this past week.

Melinda, First, can I just tell you that I prayed non stop for you during the wedding weekend! : )

So proud of you.

And secondly. HOLY WOW. You did a fantatstic job. Utterly amazing. These are perfect. I am so proud of you.

And lastly, every time I came over here for the last 10 days your blog would immediately shut down. Has anyone else had that problem? I kept meaning to send you a facebook message so you would know I was indeed trying : )

They really are perfect. But I wasn't expecting anything less.

Sorry everyone if my Blog has been shutting down on you...I think it must be an Internet Explorer/Blogger thing...who knows?! But thanks so much for the compliments!! I really appreciate them, the support and encouragement, and the prayers : )

Amber - I am shooting with a Nikon D90 and editing with Photoshop CS4 (FINALLY!!) and yes, I am on Facebook even though it too has been shutting down on me this week : (

Seriously, these are perfection. Wow. I love when pictures really capture the mood, the feeling, the moment. It sounds trite to say, but really, that`s what they are supposed to do. I`d say you are a pro.

Wow! What fantastic captures!!!!!! Love your logo, too. You have such a great eye for beauty. What type of lens(es) did you use for this shoot? Congrats on a very successful shoot! :)

Thanks girls! Courtney - I used a few different lenses for this wedding: a Nikon 50mm 1.8, a Tamron 10-24 3.5, and a Nikon 70-200 2.8 (which was by far my favorite, it was just a little too much for some situations).

HOLY WOWZA Melinda!! What were you worried about?! These are fabulous...and what a terrific location.

Now you need to send me a long "Email Book" and tell me everything you learned and how things went. Enquiring minds what to know!
