A preview

I’m still here…just recovering from my first wedding shoot. To say it was nerve racking and stressful would be an understatement. Of course, that’s not to say I didn’t have a great time photographing such a beautiful and happy event.

I have yet to edit the photos. I first need to calibrate my computer before I can even get to that stage; but, since you all have been so encouraging and supportive, I wanted to show you a couple of the shots I was able to get - that even without editing, I am pretty excited about.Meagan and her daughter  1st Dance

Just beautiful... Can't wait to see the rest. Let me know how you end up calibrating your computer. I think my color is off too.

Gorgeous. Love the moment captured in both photos. Hmm. I wonder if I need to calibrate my computer too. Is that easy?

AMAZING Pictures! The first one brings tears to my eyes. I'm really proud of you.

It was great to see you at the wedding, even though you were so busy. You looked calm, cool & collected. No one would ever know you were stressed out.

I, like everyone else, am really interested to hear how you are calibrating your monitor. I have considered buying software/tools to professionally calibrate my monitor. Until then, I have used online visual-type tools for that. I'm really not sure if my monitor is correct at all. It looks totally different than my sister's does.

Anyway...back to the important stuff. I'm loving what you showed from the wedding so far. I'm so glad you survived. Can't wait to see the rest! :)

Holy cow! I guess I'll have to do a post on calibrating my monitor now....that is as soon as I figure it out myself : )

Amber - it was so great seeing you too! Wish I could have visited more with everyone. As for my looking "cool and collected"...yeah, I'm sure people noticed that was not the case when they got up close to me and saw my stress-acne ridden face and the dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep ; )

Will you still love me if I tell you that I don't know what calibrate a camera means.

I hope you will! : )
