Flashback Friday

This weekend, Sunday to be more exact, Jack and I will be going to Disney on Ice: High School Musical. This isn't his first time to go, nor will it probably be his last; in fact, next year Beau will probably be able to go too.

I was unable to accompany Jack last year due to just having had a baby, but I cherish the times I do get to go. I love the way his eyes light up and I adore the fact that he tries to "jump and spin" for days afterwards. I also love reminiscing about the times my parents use to take me and Michael (my brother) to this event.

So for this week's Flashback Friday, I am posting a picture of one of my trips as a kid to Disney on Ice . According to the back of the photo (my mom was so good about writing dates and places on the back of pics) this was taken in September of 1984 in Greenville, South Carolina; which means this was most likely my first time to Disney On Ice and it was right at the beginning of my 21-year-long ice skating career. Who knew a Mouse could be so influential?
