Jack seemed to enjoy this way much better than the traditional way; although, I am afraid I may have to seek counseling for my poor child.
His Mr. Pumpkin Head tends to freak me out just a little.
And apparently, it tends to freak him out just a bit too... However, it doesn't quite freak him out as much as taking the guts out of the pumpkin does.Just kidding, that was a photo from last year. This year we tried to bribe him with a dollar if he would take some of it out. He thought about it for like a second, or two...and then decided if he had a scooper (or "cooper" as he calls it) he might just do it.But the process still seemed too gross (and slow).
So, he came up with the brilliant idea that we should just dump out the pumpkin's contents. (FYI, this doesn't really work)
"And what was Beau doing this whole time?", you might ask. Eating...as usual!

I love the potato head pumpkin!! And I'm with Jack...scooping out those pumpkins are GROSS work!!! ;)
I'm with Jack, the guts of the pumpkin are just gross. I love the Mr. Potato head stuff. That is a neat idea!
I thought the pumpkin gutts were gross too...until this year. I am now on a mission to make some tasty pumpkin seeds and my own pumpkin puree. We'll see how that goes...
We had thought about doing the Mr. Potato Head Pumpkin this year, but then my husband found a way to trace Jack Skellington on our pumkpin, so he became obsessed with doing that instead. :)
