Goodbye mullet
Long overdue, Beau finally had his very first haircut yesterday. He was starting to resemble Billy Ray Cyrus from the back just a little bit more than I care to admit...
I just couldn't take it anymore.
So despite the fact he has very little hair anywhere else, we at least had the mullet chopped off.

Daniele - oh how I wish he was a pro...if he had anymore hair, we would've been in trouble - he is soooo fidgety (thus the reason there is only one photo of him getting his haircut - the rest of the time, I was holding him)
We did this pretty recently with Camryn. Her hair was getting soooo long in the back but not on top or the sides. I think we cut off three inches!!

He's so cute! I think one of th reasons God has given me girls is the laziness I can get away with on haircuts. Claire just had her first-ever haircut at three and a half! I'm impressed you got him in there so young.
I had such mixed emotions about it: one - I hated cutting off his curls, two - he doesn't seem to be growing much hair on the top and sides, which leads me to reason 3 - I just couldn't stand the rat-tail/mullet look any longer.
My son is in desperate need of a haircut...he is starting to look like a shaggy dog. lol
Jack had a haircut the same day because I too thought he was looking a little like Shaggy off of Scooby-Doo : )
