Flashback Friday

It seems crazy to be posting snow pictures when we have received nothing but spring like weather for the past week. Seriously, while those to the north and east of us have been receiving buckets of the white fluffy stuff we have had temperatures in the upper 60s. It has taken everything for me not to go out and start working in the garden.

Nevertheless, "snow" or rather "what winter means to you" is this month's Flashback Friday theme, so here I am daydreaming of snowball fights and yet wishing for the flowers to bloom and the grass to turn green.

So obviously we don't get too much snow here in Oklahoma and when we do, sledding isn't always an option due to the flat lands that inhabit this state. Therefore, we are left to make our own fun - so out comes the four wheeler with innertube attached.

This photo is of Jack and my niece Brynnley in the aforementioned innertube back in 2006 right before Jack's second birthday.

Woohoo! I'm the first link! LOL

I love the idea of strapping the tube onto a vehicle. FUN!

We have four wheelers. We just need SNOW! LOL! Courtney would LOVE this.

I need to go digging to find another picture for today. I'll be back to do Mr. Linky!

I love the picture you posted.

This is a fun idea for Mr. Linky. I'll have to remember next week.

I love the tube idea, of course that probably wouldn't work for us considering we don't have a tube or 4-wheeler. That sure beats pulling a laundry basket with a scarf! I hope my kids don't find out how lame their sled was:)

It's cold in most places, so you're still safe. Great photo.

Yay! I found some snow pictures. I've got them posted now. :)

Great picture, and so fun, too!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I was wondering if everyone else was having trouble seeing the video as well. My technical support, a.k.a. Jason, is working on it.

I'm skipping out of Flashback Friday this week, unfortunately. We've had a killer week-strep throat, extra patients for me to see, etc. and I just didn't have the energy to deal with my blog on top of all that. I'll try to be back next week. Have a good weekend!

We have a lot of snow here in Michigan. I keep telling my husband, "I'm gonna die here." Oh by the way, I came from the South East, and it is my first winter here. :(
