Living in small town America, the Brookshire family lives a simple and quiet life; yet, Josh and Melinda still manage to make sure their children take advantage of every opportuinty available to them, all-the-while keeping Christ the center of their lives and household. This blog is dedicated to their growth as individuals and as a family.
I am a displaced big-city-girl now
"Bloggin' It From the 'Burbs", (a.k.a. - small town America). A stay at home mommy of two boys and the wife of my polar opposite, I am lovin’ life, and hopefully not just “with word or tongue; but in deed and truth.” (1 Jn 3:18)
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. - James 5:13
My granddad will be having hip surgery in Jan.
PRAISE: The mediastinal mass is completely gone! The CT scan shows no residual mass! Allan (an old family friend), his wife, their baby and the rest of their family - Allan has a recurrence of a cancer he previously had surgery on
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I am impressed that you have things on hangers. I think you are a super star. And I would trade your 'fat' for my 'fat' any day of the week!
How great to you look? All tanned and perfect mother styled.
Amazing. The boys and I are still in pajamas and it is 5:30. I think I might have a problem.....

That what summer is all about, being a slacker and hanging out at the pool!!
Yay for slackers! The clothes will always be there, but your kids won't always be young. Enjoy them. :)
You are KIDDING me! I'm about to come over and put that laundry away for you. ;-)
Ah, but you're having a lot of fun with your kids. What else could be more important?
You are soooo my hero!!! :) LOVE IT! Enjoy the sun and water while you can...it never lasts long enough!
LOL, I love this. I would be in the pool too.
I almost thought for a half a second you came and took a picture of my laundry room! LOL!
Your kids will remember the time you spend hanging out with over the time you spend cleaning!!!
