One of the things I love most about Facebook is getting to reconnect with friends from the past and seeing what they have been up to since I last saw them.
One of my friends from high school, Courtney Harleston, has started her own jewelry line. She is so talented and her jewelry is exquisite. You can tell she puts a lot of time and love into each piece. Courtney’s company, Agape Gems is an Atlanta-based jewelry enterprise featuring beautifully handcrafted jewelry that blends precious and semiprecious stones, precious metals, pearls, and exotic finds that are carefully appointed by Courtney herself. If you venture over to her site you can also read about what each stone means and represents. I love that Courtney takes all of that into consideration when making her jewelry.
Courtney is such a doll, she is not only giving away the following bracelet to one of my readers, but she in fact made it just for one of my readers! It is one-of-a-kind and oh-so-beautiful! (I’m a little jealous I can’t win it – I definitely think it needs a name…any ideas?)It is an Agape Gems bracelet that is lovingly assembled with Smokey Quartz, Aqua Quartz, Chalcedony, Jade, Peruvian Opal, and Adventurine stones hand-wrapped on sterling silver wire with a pewter toggle clasp. A small hand-stamped, sterling silver, Agape Gems charm ensures it's authenticity! It measures 7.5 inches and will fit small-medium wrist.
If you would like a chance at winning it (see, “it” just doesn’t do the bracelet justice… “it” definitely needs a name), visit one or both of Courtney’s sites:

Beautiful Jewelry!
I just signed up for her newsletter. Melinda, her jewelry is gorgeous. I think i like the Item# 320 earrings most(june earrings and the blue ones posted on your blog), the paris paisley pendent...I also really like the ivy drops& riley ,fern... i notice a style difference in her artistic approach that i haven't noticed in jewelry before. I like when she beads inside the structure, like the paisley necklace or the blue earrings you posted (love those too)--usually the beading is hanging off the structure, that makes her unique and interesting. I think she is definitely talented and the jewelry is gorgeous. Thanks for making us all aware of her! alyssa (ps. i also became a friend and posted her link on my facebook for brownie points!)
