“At the Beach” is this week’s i heart faces theme – a hard photo to come by if you live in a state that is landlocked and haven’t been to the beach in over a year. Forgive me if I don’t make it by your blog this week…there is only so much of a reminder to the fact I haven’t been on vacation in a while that I can take : )
Anyways, this photo is not great – it was taken in February ‘08 and I hate the fact that the sky is blown out and part of my sister’s hand has been cut off; BUT I love the playfulness of it all. You can really tell how much she adores her nephew and how much he truly loves his aunt.

Wow.. they look like they choreographed their dance! That is awesome... so are they dancing or is the sand just really, really hot? (we do THAT dance all the time!) Great shot...

Your sister is pretty like you! And your son, well he is always adorable! I can't believe you are landlocked. Does that make you want to cry sometimes? The only thing I would like about not living too close to a beach would be the chance to wear a bathing suit less, but other than that, water makes life so much more fun, right?
You don't even notice the "problems" with the photo because all you see is the fun they are having. This shot is fantastic and the processing is gorgeous. I love it!

You know, the blown out sky didn't even register with me until you mentioned it. I think it matches the breakers and sand, so embrace overexposed areas! :) What a gleeful picture! Whether or not it was a year ago, at least you have been to a real beach somewhat recently.
