Busy bees AND a new blog and website

Hello, world! You probably think I have forgotten about you all. I don’t blame you one bit; because at times, it feels like I forget about myself.

Life has been crazy. I keep thinking things will slow down but for some reason, my schedule seems to get more and more hectic.

In the past few weeks we have done a number of things:

We attended Disney On Ice. And even though Jack was sick (notice his green tint in the photo), he still seemed to enjoy it.Jack Brynnley Owen for web

My parents came to Oklahoma for a short week, and can you believe I didn’t take any photos?!?!

Jack has been playing soccer. They had their first game Tuesday night and won!Jack for web

I have been shooting and editing a number of photos, some of which I can’t show you because they are meant as Christmas gifts.Grace on ladder for web watermarked

And I have FINALLY opened up a Melinda Brookshire Photography blog and website! I am extremely excited about it (or maybe I am just excited that it is done). So go by and check it out and let me know what you think. From now on the majority of my photography related posts will be posted there so that I can get my family blog back to being my family blog. However, I will continue to post my i heart faces entries here.

I hope you all are doing well. Please accept my sincerest apologies for not being more attentive to not only my blog but all of yours as well.

Oh Melinda! I am SO excited for you : ) And guess what? I am going to do YOUR flashback Friday tomorrow! I think. I could have sworn I saw an old picture today with a costume in it. Just before I came over here though I couldn't find it.... If I don't go over to look at your blog right this second it is because I am saving it for my special computer time on Saturday : ) and because Kaish is sick and I really should take care of him : )

And I can NOT believe you didn't take a picture or your Mama and Papa. WHAT IN THE WORLD were you thinking? : )
