Labor Day fun

Our "To do list" around the house continues to grow. We had all of these plans on completing things on Labor Day. But needless to say, most of it went untouched. The weather was gorgeous and we just couldn't resist spending the day outside...that is, after we played inside for a little with all of Beau's new toys.

After the boys took a short nap, we carted Beau over to Nana Robin's and Papa Chip's and then Josh, Jack and I went golfing. Hinton is blessed with a beautiful, well kept golf course: Sugar Creek Canyon. I had actually never been golfing before this, and let me just say this: it was a very humbling experience. (Granddad, you need to head out to Oklahoma and give me some lessons...it wouldn't hurt Josh any to have a couple of pointers either.)

Despite my shortcomings, we still had a great time. It was so nice to not only spend the day outside and to try something new, but it was so wonderful to get to spend some time with my better half.

I've always wanted to play but, alas, have never been brave enough. Maybe you will be my inspiration...

You and Junior should come out and play sometime. It would be nice to have a fellow newbie to play along with : ) Pick a weekend...
