Only in small town America...

would you see this in a Christmas parade!

Photobucket

Saturday night, the little town in which we live held their annual Christmas parade. It consisted of floats, cars, fire trucks, trailers, and yes, tractors all decorated by local businesses and school age children. The bank handed out free hot chocolate and one of the insurance companies/real estate agencies blared Christmas music from its store front. It all sounds a little hokey but again, this community is all about family and kids and for that, I LOVE it (tractors and all - lol).

As the "floats" passed by, candy was thrown into the streets where it was survival of the fittest. Jack was, no doubt, a true survivor.

Beau, on the other hand, sat back, enjoyed the lights and was grateful for all the hard work his brother did collecting the hoards of candy.

That was one mambajamba of a tractor! Holy Smokes!

We missed the Christmas parade here this year. But, I'm not sure if we'd have gone anyway. The wind was blowing at hurricane speeds!

I love it! Nothing says Christmas like a festively decorated Deere.

Very cute! We love our tractors in the parade too. We watched Tulsa's on the T.V. this year. I didn't want to get out in the cold.
