I am absolutely loving the
i heart faces site! They have now launched a
Fix-It Friday post where you are to take a picture they have provided and then post process it yourself. Since I am still trying to better my photography and post editing skills, this website is proving to be such a great teaching tool.
Here is the before:
And here are two "solutions" I came up with using my free 30-day-trial of Photoshop CS4:

I love #2. It is a great boost in details and colors. Fantastic!
LOVE that crackle finish!! I haven't learned those yet. No textures for me yet! LOL
I love the richness of the tones in the first photo and the sepia is beautiful!
I'm also loving your oh-so-positive, wonderful attitude about our site. You put a big smile on my face just now!
So glad you played along with us today. :)

I really like the second photo. Good job!
Wow! Your photos look awesome! I love the contrast and colors and tones...also the crispness!
Great Job!! I'm also new to I heart faces and love it!! Its a great challenge isn't it?
Both are fantastic...the color and her eyes really pop in the first one. How do you like CS4?
I LOVE the first one you did! Its perfect!
Hiya!! I definately like #2 best! Hope you are having a good week.
I love both of them! You did that?
* shock and awe *
That's amazing! I love how the colors pop in the second one, and the sepia just looks so...Soft. Makes me want to touch it. You did an amazing job. I am STUNNED. Honestly.
I love it!
Good job! I am going to try my hand at it today, too.
Girl! Those are awesome!! I love the second one!!
Good job!
In both, you really made the freckles stand out which I think is such a cool feature on this girl. Very nice! (And awesome job with trying out Photoshop for the first time...as I understand it, that program has a bit of a learning curve.) I have Elements and want the full version of Photoshop so bad! :)
That is really cool!
I think I like the sepia one better, but the first one has great color, and it's nice and sharp! Nice editing
WOW! These look great!
I just found this site but had not truly 'researched' it. Looks like I need to. :)
I'm still trying to figure out how to use my camera.
Really great work. I am impressed.
