A hairy situation

The boys were in dire need of haircuts. Jack was starting to look a little bit like Shaggy…April 1 09 009 from Scooby-doo. shaggy_wall2_1024x768 And Beau, although his curls were adorable was beginning to look a little bit like a girl.April 1 09 005 So last week upon venturing into the city for yet another doctor’s appointment for Beau (yes, he is suffering from yet another case of ear infection), I took the boys to a place called Snip-Its.

It was a very bright and colorful place with weird little characters everywhere. I believe Jack’s exact words were, “This is a very strange place, mama”.April 1 09 012 Each station had their own TV and so both boys cooperated beautifully. April 1 09 017April 1 09 018  Now, if I could only find the time to get my hair cut….it has seriously been since November when  I last had my hair did. Gross : (

I love going to places that just cut kids hair. There is a place here in Tulsa called Kuts for Kids and the guy has Christian music playing and scriptures on the wall and he is super fast...like 4-5 minutes.

November? You definitely deserve to be pampered! I am having my hair dresser come to my house this month to do mine since the baby is so little. Should be interesting.

I always put off the haircuts until they look like sheepdogs. I just got theirs done last week so they wouldn't look scary for Easter.

You are so lucky...all we have around here are Chinese who speak no English and butcher little kids hair. ;)

Love the hair, it is too cute! Every three weeks we make our trek to get haircuts, otherwise I tell them they are starting to look like hippies. Cute place to go!

How much fun is that? You should have asked the Snippet stylist to do your hair really quickly while the boys were entertained : ). I know a stylist from Snippets could have done your hair like nobody's business....

If you haven't gotten your haircut since November then you have PERFECT hair because didn't you just recently take that profile picture of yourself? Your hair is AMAZING. Just like you!

I told Gary that I had to come and meet you because we are true blue blog friends and he said, "I think you have a serious problem, Becky." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. He doesn't see the fascination with telling all of our family business to the world. I try to explain that it is not the world, but only about 50 people a day, but he just doesn't get it. What can I say, some people are bloggers and some people aren't. Poor things!
