Missing my calling…
That is, if I were younger…
I mean seriously, can you imagine the calories these girls are burning?
The jump rope team is from Ohio and is made of of 4th-8th grade girls. They have made multiple appearances including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the David Letterman Show.
My friend Brooke posted this on her blog (she always posts cool videos and random tidbits) and I just couldn’t resist sharing it too. It is a little lengthy but well worth the watch, especially when they pick up the pace towards the end. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
To find out more about this group of talented young ladies head on over to their very own blog here.

Quick question...
Sorry, I have yet another question regarding my blog. It has been brought to my attention that my pictures are showing up cut in half on some computers. I have a wide-screen so that is not the case on mine but I hate that all of you may only be seeing half of my pictures. I would love to hear from you if my pictures have been showing up as "weird" on your computer so that I can hopefully find a remedy. Thanks!
**Update: I have gone through the last few posts and reduced the size of the pictures; but my old "larger" pictures can be seen after that. Please let me know which ones are better viewed on your computer. Again, I appreciate your time and input.

"Mess" or "Yes!"?
Obviously I am trying some new stuff here on the blog and I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to keep said changes. Although I like the new navigation bar I am unsure about the three-column-layout. It almost seems too messy and dissheveled to me, but is that my OCD and journalism background coming out again or does it really come across as unorganized to you too? Be honest! (I promise not to cry for too long).

Just curious...
Is anyone else experiencing problems with their Blogger account?
I hate admitting this, because I love reading all of your comments and really don't want to deter you from leaving them; however for at least a month now I have not been receiving any type of e-mail notification to let me know of all you nice people leaving comments. I have gone through all of my setting and all of my spam mail - and still nothing! It is really aggravating because I want to respond to your comments but by the time I read them, it is almost too late for me to respond. So for that I apologize.
Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else is having this problem as well or if it's just me that Blogger hates?

America has spoken
In a undoubtedly historic election, America made its choice; and in a resounding voice heard around the word, Barack Obama was announced as our next President of the United States.Regardless of your political party affiliation, regardless of who you might have voted for, regardless of the color of your skin or your ethnicity, I hope you all will continue to pray for the leaders of our country and for the country itself. Whether you believe it to be a good thing or bad thing, change is coming and we need to fervently pray that whatever that change may be that God's will be done. A new era is upon all of us and we need to remember that God has a beautiful and wonderful plan laid out for each and every one of us, a plan in which we shouldn't shy away from but rather embrace and respect all the while furthering His Kingdom.
